I came across an interesting service a few weeks ago found at www.VideoAnnouncements.tv.
Anyone who serves on a church staff knows how announcements can seem like the Achilles’ heel of every service. They’re one of the best ways to get important information across or push people to respond in some way. However, they never seem to fit anywhere in the service flow, they’re difficult to deliver in a creative and engaging way and you always have to deal with the question of what gets announced and what doesn’t.
VideoAnnouncements.tv tries to help with those challenges by providing custom video announcements for churches on a monthly subscription basis. It’s pretty costly at $300/month and you get up to 15 announcements for that price. Having some, but very little, experience in video production I can completely understand that cost.
Anybody out there interested? What if it was $50/month? I would love to use it in our family ministry environments but we would only need 3-5/month.
